I hate exercising so when I lift weights I do 2 exercises to make it as easy as possible.


The deadlift is a fantastic exersise that works just about every muscle in your body except the chest and arms (do benchpresses for those). I love the deadlift because I don't have to do all of that other time consuming stuff.




Learn how to do it right though, because it's easy to mess up your back if you don't do it properly.

I have never attempted one of these or a good morning. I am honestly scared that I will do something wrong. All the excercises with a huge emphasis on technique make me aprehensive.

Rob I haven't seen 'good morning' reference in many moons...I had to think or a sec wtf you meant...

Never done a dead lift...interesting Hitman, how often do you do these?

Excellent advice Hitman.

If you throw in Squats you basically have a full-body workout with only 3 compound exercises. As with deadlifts, form is very important when doing squats.

Dead lifts are very important in terms of competition, and bragging


it is 3rd only behind the bench press and sqauts

Deadlifts are my favorite exercise next to the bench and curls. I just love how you just bulge out while doing them. All the veins just come out when you do them. I dont like Good mornings at all, but I do them once every two weeks.

I think deadlifts are too dangerous personally...it all depends what you're looking for...

Which is best for overall strength? Squat or dead lift?

I heard if you don't do squats your not working out...I hate em.

I plan on doing 3 exersises this fall...squat,deadlift, and bench....I'm just doing the vanity stuff right now, arms shoulders.

Never try deadlifts before...dunno man looks a bit dangerous to me
